Awesome.

The Twins are a class organization, and it showed on Tuesday when the Yankees and the Twins met for game 2 of a 4 game series in Minneapolis.

There the Twins presented Rivera with a gift, but not just any gift, one which truly captured just how dominate his career was. It was dubbed ‘the chair of broken dreams’ ¬†and the rocking chair was made up of bats broken off of Rivera’s cutter.

Twins skipper Ron Gardenhire came up with the idea, and it was presented on the field to a very thankful Mariano. Also the Twins made a $10,000 donation to the Mariano Rivera Foundation.
