NCAA Football: Music City Bowl-North Carolina State vs Vanderbilt

Earlier this week, we found out the Vanderbilt coach, James Franklin, had gone cliff diving on a staff retreat. The drop was about 30 feet and doesn’t appear to be too dangerous when you look at the video footage.

Franklin told The Tennesseean:

“We were on a staff retreat and half our staff was golfing in the afternoon and the other half was on a pontoon boat. We were just trying to have some fun and blow off some steam before the season got started.”

Now there are a lot of things that I would do for fun, but jumping off a cliff (even a short one) didn’t make my top 20 list. Better Franklin than me.
