Philadelphia 76ers owner Josh Harris is now at the center of two cities and two fan base’s who generally don’t like each other.
After inquiring into the availability of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, Harris is now officially the owner after purchasing the Devils for $320 million on Thursday.
Harris is the founder of one of the world’s largest private equity firms.
Harris will now have the daily pleasure of owning the 76ers, in the same town, Philadelphia, which houses one of the Devils biggest rivals in the Flyers.
The Devils won the Stanley Cup in 1995, 2000 and 2003, and won the Eastern Conference championships in 2001 and 2012.
