Another former University of Illinois player has fallen to injury. Chicago Bears CB Kelvin Hayden has torn his hamstring and will be out for the season according to SB Nation. Stacey Dales first reported it on via twitter with this:

Hayden spent the first six years of his career with the Colts and then signed with Falcons in 2011. He then went to the Bears last season, and though he isn’t a starter, his veteran leadership is an asset for the Bears.
It’s been a pretty rough training camp for Illini alum as Arrelious Benn, Joe Morgan have suffered serious, season-ending injury, while G Jeff Allen suffered a shoulder injury.
