The new look Brooklyn Nets will hold training camp at Duke University. Getting away from the New York media is a smart move on their behave. This will also allow the team to build chemistry.
“With many new players and a new staff, going on the road for training camp will offer a unique opportunity for our players to bond and focus solely on basketball as they prepare for this season,” King said in a statement. “Duke University offers first class basketball facilities and will provide an optimum training environment for our team.”
The trip to Duke University will be a reunion for Nets general manager Billy King and first-round draft pick Mason Plumlee. King played for Mike Krzyzewski from 1985-1988 and Plumlee just completed his senior campaign at Duke this past season.
