Cardinals Plan To Use Patrick Peterson On Offense

Chicago Bears v Arizona Cardinals

Patrick Peterson has already established himself as a top-notch corner and return man, but can he really flourish on both sides of the ball?

The Cardinals sure plan to find out.

The Cardinals and head coach Bruce Arians plan to utilize Peterson’s talent on offense as well.  Carson Palmer told the teams website that Peterson will indeed “have a package of offensive plays for him.”

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer told the team’s website that there’s a “pretty big package” of plays for Peterson on offense. In today’s practice that included not only Peterson catching a deep ball from Palmer, but also Peterson throwing a pass to Larry Fitzgerald. Palmer believes Peterson could be a very good offensive player.

“If he wasn’t playing corner he’d probably be just as good of a receiver, H-back or Percy Harvin-type player,” Palmer said.
