Carmelo Anthony is not blind, he’s seen the moves the Brooklyn Nets have made.
Catch Anthony in a moment of honest reflection, and he’ll probably tell you the Nets made all the moves he wanted the Knicks to make.
Anthony likes what Brooklyn did this offseason, and told ESPN New York, it was “special.”
“It’s special what [Brooklyn] did,” Anthony told ESPN Insider’s Jeff Goodman. “[Jason Kidd] will have four or five future Hall of Famers. I played with him for a year and also with USA Basketball and I know his mentality. He knows the game. It won’t be hard for him to deal with those guys because he’ll put them in position and only have to tell them things one time.”
The Nets are loaded on paper, so was Melo being honest, or giving the Nets bait for some overconfidence?
