Cheerleaders Can’t Spell ‘Responsible’ on Football Banner (Photo)

I’m not sure exactly what happened, but it seems that the Alabama school system is failing its youth. AL.com is reporting a huge blunder by the Hoover Bucs cheerleading squad this past Thursday night. The Hoover Bucs football team was victorious over Florence with a 27-6 win, but the cheerleading squad lost to the spelling bee when they misspelled the word ‘responsible’ as ‘responsible’ in a huge banner for the team.

This is strangely reminiscent of the Snickers commercial where they field caretaker misspelled ‘Chiefs’ as ‘Chefs’ before the game.

Maybe the cheerleaders just needed a Snickers bar to keep them up to date with dictionary.

  1. Coincidentally you misspelled “responsable” as “responsible”. Also, this is the last website that should ever call out someone for grammatical errors.
