Four years ago the Dallas Cowboys moved to the House that Jerry built aka The AT&T Stadium, and now the team is on the move again.
Yesterday the Frisco City Council and the city’s school board approved an agreement in which they will build a $115 million facility that will be home to new Cowboys headquarters as well as house high school games for the town.
The Cowboys will not have to pay any money for initial costs, but will be responsible for any expenditures above the $115 million, as well as developing surrounding land.
This announcement will officially cut Cowboy ties with Irving, Texas where the Cowboys have had a connection since 1971. The new facility is expected to open in 2016.
