A lot of this is just idle talk before the season starts, but this isn’t complicated.

Michael Vick has to stay healthy, how he does it, well that is on him, but it isn’t the media fault.

“I think you got to take on a certain mindset that you’re going play the game all out,” Vick said. “If you go into a football game not wanting to get hurt or trying not to get hurt, it doesn’t allow you to play the way you want to play.” Vick injured his head, hand, and ribs last season. He missed five games due to a concussion last season. “You guys act like I get hurt once a week,” Vick said to reporters with a media. “You all did that to me. Made me change the way I played the game.”

Vick’s legs are still a weapon, not the weapon they once were, but still can be useful if he learns not to take such jarring hits.

Can a dog learn new tricks (no pun intended)? We will see.

  1. Jim says:

Mike Vick blames media for making him “changed…”

Did someone educated actually write thus headline? Did anyone actually read this headline before publishing it?
