Report: 76ers Offer Spurs Assistant Brett Brown Head Coaching Job

NBA: Playoffs-San Antonio Spurs at Golden State Warriors

It took new 76ers GM Sam Hinkie almost a year, but he finally has decided on his man.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the 76ers have offered their head coaching job to Spurs assistant coach Brett Brown.

Wojnarowski is reporting that the two sides are negotiating a contract as we speak.

For the past seven years, Brown has been a bench assistant coach under Gregg Popovich with San Antonio. He joined the Spurs for a second time in 2001.
