Alex Rodriguez has a decision to make, and he shouldn’t take that much time making it either.
USA Today is reporting that Rodriguez must either accept a suspension until 2015, or face a lifetime ban from Major League Baseball.
The source was unauthorized to speak publicly about the situation since the talks are private.
At this point, it is now on Rodriguez and his attorney’s to decide if they want to accept a suspension that would result in a 217-game penalty.
Rodriguez would also lose $34.5 million in salary, but would still be due $61 million in from 2015-2017, as well as a possible $30 million in bonuses.
