Pretty sure Ryan Braun is in the running for worst human being ever…or near the top.
Exposed liar/disgraced former MVP Ryan Braun was said to have told players that the collector of his urine sample which tested outrageously high for synthetic testosterone was an anti-Semite. This was all in an attempt by Braun to garner the sympathy from peers and discredit the collector.
According to Yahoo, Braun also went on to say that the collector is a fan of the fellow NL Central rival Chicago Cubs, three different sources have confirmed.
Braun sought support from his peers so that they would publically back him as he appealed the suspension handed down. Reports went on to say:
A number of players with whom Braun spoke, including Brewers teammates, believed the allegations. A source close to Dino Laurenzi Jr., the test collector, said the anti-Semitism allegation is untrue; his fan allegiance is unclear. It added to the backlash against Braun inside the Milwaukee clubhouse as well as outside following his recent 65-game suspension for his involvement with the Biogenesis clinic. Kemp told reporters people in the game felt “betrayed” and that he was “disappointed.”
Braun evaded a 50-game suspension because of his rallying of support and the veritable witch hunt he led against collector Dino Laurenzi. Now, that Braun has been pinned down due to his involvment in Biogenesis, he will serve his much deserved suspension, but his apology tour he’s to embark on has taken a big hit.
Surely this is about as low as we’ve reached with Braun, going so far out of his way to tear down an innocent man’s life is about all one needs to see before even contemplating believing any faux apology he delivers.
