TCU head coach Gary Patterson is not feeling the way LSU head coach Les Miles handles disciplinary actions for his team, and Patterson had no problem taking a shot at Miles in the process.
According to Saturday’s Down South, Patterson was asked about Miles taking a team vote to allow stud running back Jeremy Hill back on the team.
Reporters then asked Patterson about the idea of holding a ‘team vote’ to allow his best player Devonte Fields, who is suspended for the LSU game, to be reinstated.
“My whole team would vote Devonte to be back on the team because they all want to win. That doesn’t teach life lessons.”
Patterson then went on to accuse Miles of not suspending Hill, because LSU is facing TCU, and not some cupcake.
“I’m sure if it was some opponent they’d beat by 100 points [the players] wouldn’t have a vote. It’s not my worry. I’ve got to play whoever they put on the field.”
Shots fired baby.
