Coffey was an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2012 that signed with the Broncos, but has been out of football for almost a year.
He has never appeared in a NFL regular season game, so as you can imagine when he couldn’t hang on with a team, he had to get a regular job like most 23-year-old kids fresh out of college.

The Texans signed him today and while it is a long shot he’ll make the team, playing in the NFL even for a couple of weeks, sounds a lot more fun than being behind a rental car desk.
