The administration of Texas A&M is doing a lot of talking lately. Chancellor John Sharp took another turn at caping for Johnny Manziel today on KBTX. Here are the details:

System chancellor┬áJohn Sharp spoke to KBTX in College Stationafter an event at Kyle Field on Thursday, explaining that he “has seen things other folks can’t see” and believes that the allegations “did not happen.”

“I know he’s innocent,” Sharp told KBTX. “I know that he didn’t do what they accused him of doing.”

Why does everyone at Texas A&M feel the need to talk about this? It really does appear that Texas A&M is taking the approach that Auburn took with Cam Newton and staying behind Manziel. However, if things get a little shaky or Johnny winds up doing something else before the season starts, will this all change?
