Where were you when Michael Jordan scored his first basket at North Carolina.
Thanks to this video courtesy of Thacover2, you can probably figure out the time and date from one night in 1981.
The video shows Jordan in his first game at North Carolina in 1981, a 74-67 victory over Kansas. It shows Jordan’s introduction in the Tar Heels’ starting lineup, his first shot attempt and his first collegiate basket, which ironically, was a short baseline jumper that looks eerily similar to the shot he hits a few months later to win a National Championship.
Michael only averaged 13 points per game during that season.
