The Philadelphia 76ers are in serious rebuild mode, and barreling full steam ahead into the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes.
Practice started over at PCOM on Saturday morning, and we can expect a lot of perimeter oriented play for the first few weeks.
According to multiple reports the 76ers only have one healthy body in the post.
“That’s the situation we’re in,” Hawes said Friday as the Sixers prepared to open training camp Saturday at St. Joseph’s University. “We’ve got to do everything we can to kind of make do until those guys get back, but I guess it means more opportunities [for me].”
Nerlens Noel of course is rehabbing from ACL surgery. Forward Arnett Moultrie will be out two months after ankle surgery.
Kwame Brown and Lavoy Allen are both nursing hamstring issues.
