Dylan Moses chose the familiarity of Baton Rouge, and a three minute walk to college over the allure of Nick Saban and years of hatred in his home state.
Moses, who drew national praise for being recruited by LSU and Alabama, has chosen to commit to the Tigers at the beginning of his freshman year.
Moses is currently attending University Lab High School this fall, which is about 800 feet from the LSU campus. It is that close proximity, that probably caused Saban to jump into the mix for a player that was only going to be walking distance from Les Miles for the next 4 years.
Moses, 15, announced his commitment on Twitter, and ESPN later was able to confirm the Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab School freshman’s decision via text.
“I’ve always wanted to play for LSU since I was a kid,” Moses said then. “Now it’s coming true in front of my eyes.”
Could we be looking at this generations version of Marcus Dupree before Oklahoma and the injuries?
