Originally the case against Aaron Hernandez looked very strong. As the weeks have went by, cracks in the prosecution’s case have leaked and one has to wonder if this is looking more like a 50/50 case than a slam dunk.
We won’t know until probably next summer according to Pro Football Talk.
Now that former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has officially pleaded not guilty to six counts related to the death of Odin Lloyd, the case can begin to move toward a trial date.
Per a source with direct knowledge of the situation, the trial most likely will happen during the summer of 2014.
There is still the issue of the double murders in Boston that Hernandez is believed to be involved in, but his most pressing situation is beating the current charges of 1st degree murder of Odin Lloyd.
