Who would have thought that the Golden State would be the talk of the NBA before the season even starts.
Golden State is not a shocking pick to win the West after the steps they took last season. They added the toughness and versatility with the signing of Andre Iguodala, and the veteran forward likes what he’s seeing so far.
Iguodala piggybacked off of what Stephen Curry said earlier this summer, and said that he thinks the Warriors will win more than 50 games.
Fifty wins?
“I would say more than that,” Iguodala said Wednesday at the team’s downtown Oakland headquarters, where most players have been voluntarily working out for about three weeks before training camp starts Sept. 29. “I just have really high expectations for us. I won’t say too much about wins. I’d rather fly under the radar.”
