Denver Broncos TE Julius Thomas has been arrested on failure to appear for a previous ticket, according to a sheriff’s report. According to the sherrif’s office:
According to sheriff’s office, Thomas was cited on Jan. 25 for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was initially scheduled to appear March 21, and failed to appear so a warrant was issued.
He was arrested Aug. 28 and is set for Sept. 12 appearance on bond in Arapahoe County.
The Broncos released a statement as well:
“We were notified of the issue involving Julius Thomas when it occurred on Aug. 28. It was addressed internally and is being resolved.”
Come on man you couldn’t find time to pay the ticket so you didn’t have to appear in court in the first place? There is no word from the Broncos on how this effects Thomas status for tonight’s game with the Ravens.
We have to do better.
