Dennis Rodman is going back to North Korea to visit his “friend for life” Kim Jong Un. He did downplay speculation that he would lobby to secure the release of the jailed American citizen Kenneth Bae.

But speaking to reporters at Beijing airport en route to the North Korean capital, Rodman said “I haven’t been promised anything” on Bae.

“I’m just going to meet my friend Kim the marshal to start a new basketball league going,” Rodman said. “I’m just trying to keep the communication job going.”

How is it possible that The Worm is out best chance at peace or diplomacy with North Korea? He did have a great quote though:

“There should be a lot of Bad Boy vodka there already,” he joked to USA Today. “They love whiskey, they love tequila, they love vodka, stuff like that, so hoping we’re going over to have a nice dinner, sit and talk about communication and sports.”
