Dwyane Wade Accepts His #2 Aquaman Role on the Heat
To my dying day I will point out that Wade was the mastermind behind LeBron coming to the Heat. It was a brilliant strategic move because he was in no-lose situation.
If the Heat lost everyone would blame LeBron, if the Heat won he would have multiple rings (and always one more than LeBron if Bron stays in Miami) and his career would be extended because he wouldn’t be carrying a sorry team on his own.
Only small issue would be Wade is an Alpha Male and it is hard to accept being #2 when you have always been #1. He has had some shaky moments dealing with, but it appears he is more comfortable with it now.
Wade, on his role, "Well, I'm the second option. Let's just point blank, say it. So I've got to do different things than I've done."
