The former middleweight champion who has a long history of substance and alcohol abuses problems, has gotten himself in another minor dispute.

Not surprisingly it started at a bar.

Retired boxer Kelly Pavlik is charged with theft after refusing to pay a Youngstown taxi cab company $25.

“A” Cab owner Brian Bleggi tells 21 News his employee picked up Pavlik from a bar on Meridian Road shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Pavlik was then dropped off at his home and that’s when he refused to pay.

At least he was smart enough to take a cab and not drive.
