Floyd Mayweather Sr. Questions Canelo’s Stamina; Predicts Knockout
Canelo has been known to take rounds off here and there. His dedication to training has also been questioned in the past. You would think in the biggest fight of his life, that he wouldn’t have cut any corners, but Floyd Mayweather Sr. is not convinced.
“One thing I saw in the Trout fight was [Trout] never went to the body. Never hit him one time. And guess what? [Canelo] ran out of gas. Nobody took the gas out of his tank. So when you run out of gas like that, you know what time its going to be. Its time to have some fun” said Mayweather Sr with a smile.
“I believe we’re going to stop him. Me and [Floyd] got a plan set up that we plan on doing. It’ll just be a matter of time. I think everything is good and [Canelo is] probably going to get stopped” Mayweather Sr would tell BoxingScene.
I’ve never seen Canelo seriously hurt, so I would be shocked if Mayweather stops him, but I think the chances of Canelo running out of gas if Mayweather gets into a rhythm are valid.Powered by Sidelines
