Hakeem Olajuwon has a great side business post NBA of helping players work on their post moves since he was one of the best to ever do it in the post. He has set his sights on a new pupil. Jeremy Lin:
The Dream went on to elaborate on what he sees in Lin:
“The first thing I told [Lin] when I saw him shooting, you hear from different people, a lot of them say he cannot shoot. So I went to him and I said ‘I thought you can’t shoot,’ because the way he was shooting, I was very impressed. He was working on his shot. He was shooting tough shots and was making them.
“So I went to him (and said) I thought you can’t shoot and he was laughing. He really has been working on his shot and I love his work ethic.”
It’s nice that Hakeem is helping Lin get better, even though we know it’s not free. Any help Lin can get it probably appreciated by the Rockets organization considering Lin is one of the worst starting PGs in the NBA.
If Hakeem can make Lin better, everyone will be lining up to pay his fee to get tutored.
