If you were watching Florida State tonight against Pitt, you saw that Jameis Winston had a coming out party. He went 25/27 for 356 yards and 4 TDs, adding a rushing touchdown to boot. To throw some salt on the wound for Texas fans though, it was revealed that Winston dreamed of playing for Texas but Mack Brown ignored him:

Winston during recruiting: “I loved Texas. I grew up watching Vince Young. Texas even has a great baseball program. The first tape I asked our coaches to send out was to Texas. The only school I called was Texas. I dreamed about Texas…”

It was later confirmed that Winston himself called Texas but they didn’t offer him even though he has offers from Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State to name a few. If you are keeping score at home, RGIII, Johnny Football, Ryan Tannehill, and Jameis Winston all wanted to play QB for Mack Brown and he turned them away.

Oh and if you are wondering who the QB was that made Mack ignore Jameis: Connor Brewer, who already left UT.
