Jerry Jones Wants You to Keep in Mind The Cowboys Were Expected to Lose to Chiefs

Dallas Cowboys v Cincinnati Bengals

Oh those funny Cowboys.

While understandably the fans and team were disappointed with their lost to the Chiefs, Jerry Jones decided to look at the situation glass half full.

Check out this quote courtesy of Cowboys Corner.

“We went in there as the underdog,” Jones said Tuesday on his radio show on KRLD 105.3 FM “The Fan,” asked if he considered the game a lost opportunity. “The Cowboys were the underdog going in the game. The line actually expected us not to win that game. And so, let’s keep that in mind.”

“It never ceases to amaze me,” he said. “Actually, they were right. I think, what were they a 3-point favorite? End up losing by one. It never ceases to amaze me how close these things pan out.”

So, in Jerry’s mind if you are betting underdog and you lose, people shouldn’t be that surprised by it. FYI for Jerry, the home team automatically gets 3 points for being at home, so in reality Vegas was saying it was a pickem game, but we are getting into semantics now.

How Bout Dem Cowboys!!
