This Saturday night, Ohio State faces off against Wisconsin in a Big Ten showdown. It looks like they will have a King pumping the team up before the game and roaming the sidelines. According to a report out of Ohio:
An Ohio State spokesperson confirmed to BuckeyeSports.com that Miami Heat star and reigning two-time NBA Finals MVP LeBron James will be on the third-ranked Buckeyes’ sideline on Saturday for the team’s primetime matchup with No. 23Wisconsin. Current plans also call for the nine-time All-Star to deliver a pre-game speech to the Ohio State squad.
Everyone knows the story of LeBron saying he would have gone to Ohio State if he went to college. What you may not know is that Urban Meyer actually recruited him to Notre Dame back when he was the WR coach there. I don’t know if this pre-game speech will be a jinx for the Buckeyes but it probably won’t fire anyone up since we have seen these “great” speeches from Bron before Heat games.
