Now that Trent Richardson is no longer a Cleveland Brown, there are a lot of pissed off Browns fans, especially the ones who invested in his jersey. As a token of good faith, the Browns organization is offering their fans a small peace offering. TMZ is reporting that the organization is offering a free exchange program for any supportive fans that purchased Richardson’s jersey within the last 30 days. Fans can either get a full refund or do an exchange for something else.
I don’t see how this even remotely makes it better. Richardson was drafted in 2012, so basically the Browns teased the fans with a glimmer of hope and snatched it away one year later. Cleveland fans just have no luck with keeping players in town.
