Ohio State seems notorious for being great to players when they need them and then distancing themselves as soon as the relationship goes south. We saw the debacle that was Maurice Clarett and now we get to see something similar with Terrelle Pryor. CBS Sports is reporting that Pryor may not exactly be on the best of terms with his former school.
After a win against Jacksonville on Sunday, Pryor was asked about his relationship with Ohio State and the answer wasn’t pretty.
“That’s my school, but they don’t really accept me. I’ve moved on to what I have now, and that’s just football. Those guys kicked me out of school after all those things I did for them.”
Pryor’s mouth seemed to be about to get the better of him, so a Raiders team official interjected to end all questions about Ohio State. Pryor later made a statement saying that he is “not at all” bitter about what happened in Columbus and he wishes that the Buckeyes “win a championship.”
