Basketball giveth, and basketball taketh away; sometimes in the span of a few seconds.
The San Antonio Spurs and their fans were three seconds away from winning the ultimate prize in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. But one Ray Allen, did the improbable and knocked down the biggest shot of the series which subsequently revived the Miami Heat and crushed the spirits of the Spurs and their fans.
The organization held a viewing party for Game 6 at AT&T Center, and the collective euphoria when the Spurs secured a seemingly secure 3-point lead, followed by the unified shock when Allen hit the tying shot is kind of funny.
