It hasn’t been a good start to the season for the TCU Horned Frogs. After a heartbreaking loss to the LSU Tigers at home, they followed it up with a major injury to one of their key players. CBS Sports is reporting that starting QB Casey Pachall may miss as much as eight weeks with a broken arm. Pachall suffered a fracture in his left foreman and had surgery Saturday afternoon.
His replacement is sophomore Trevone Boykin, which may not be all too terrible after all. Boykin was able to capitalize with two second half touchdowns against LSU and also racked up 24 points against Southeastern Louisiana. Only time will tell how this will play out for the Horned Frogs.
