It’s always nice to have goals.
Texans rookie WR DeAndre Hopkins had a breakout game yesterday against the Titans. He had a huge catch to set up the game tying TD and the team needed him while All-Pro WR Andre Johnson was being tested for a concussion. He has he sights on being great:
“I feel like I can be better than Andre,” Hopkins said, via the team’s website. “That’s my mindset. And that’s what Andre tells me. [He says] Don’t try to shadow yourself when you know you can be better.”
Hopkins isn’t the first WR to be full of confidence. I like the mindset he has and don’t think it will be a problem for the team. As long as Johnson keeping cosigning for him.
