After a pathetic showing against BYU, Chip Brown is reporting that Mack Brown has fired defensive coordinator Manny Diaz.
Diaz’s defense gave up a school-record 550 rushing yards to the Cougars as the No. 15 Longhorns lost 40-21 in Provo Saturday night. It was Texas’s first non-conference road loss since 2000.
Former DC Greg Robinson has been brought up as a possible replacement. The seat is getting mighty hot for Mack Brown as well.
