The Ohio State Buckeyes dodged a bullet on Saturday after star quarterback Braxton Miller left their game against San Diego State with a lower leg injury.
it was later reported that Miller had suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee.
The Plain Dealer is reporting that Urban Meyer feels there is a good chance that Miller will be ready to go next Saturday vs Cal, and that Miller could have played if the Buckeyes needed him to.
“The things that make him dangerous are his wheels,” Meyer said of Miller. “We all decided it was best not to [put him back in]. I think there’s a chance he’ll be ready next week.”
Even though Kenny Guiton accounted for over 230 total yards, the Buckeyes will go as Braxton Miller takes them.
