The Philadelphia Eagles and their new read option offense was what everyone wanted to see as the 2013 NFL regular season got underway last weekend.
The Eagles did not disappoint, showing a fast paced offense, hundreds of formations, and an ability to feature their best skill players all over the field.
Everyone took notice of the high powered Eagles, even the book makers in Las Vegas.
Reuben Frank CSN Philly is reporting that the Eagles odds to reach the Super Bowl more than doubled after their impressive performance on Monday night.
According to Vegas oddsmakers @BovadaLV, the Eagles moved from 50-to-1 to 28-to-1 to win Super Bowl XLVIII.

At 50-to-1, only eight teams had longer odds before opening weekend to win Super Bowl XLVIII in East Rutherford in February.
The Jaguars (300-to-1), Raiders (250-to-1), Browns, Titans and Bills (150-to-1), the Jets and Cards (125-to-1) and the Panthers (66-to-1).
After Mondays performance, only 12 teams in the NFL now have better odds.
A Bovada spokesperson confirmed that if they beat the Chargers this weekend, those odds will improve again.
“No team has seen a bigger drop in odds than the Philadelphia Eagles going from 50-1 to 28-1,” Bovada sports book manager Kevin Bradley said in a press release.
“And if they win as 7.5-point favorites at home to the Chargers this week, I see us moving those odds to under 20-1 and making them legit Super Bowl contenders.”
