Billy King says the Nets championship is small.

Brooklyn has gathered a plethora of talent over the past few seasons.

The only problem is that majority of it is ‘old’ talent. Joe Johnson (32), Paul Pierce (35), Jason Terry (36) and Kevin Garnett (37).

That factor alone is what lead to Nets general manager Billy King saying the time to win is now.

Billy King believes the Brooklyn Nets’ window to win a title is this season.

“Now, this is the window — this season,” the Nets’ general manager said Wednesday at Duke University, where the team is holding its training camp. “We’re going to see what we can do with this season, and then we’ll see what next season brings.”

He did NOT say the window was for one year. He said the window starts now, this year.
