Florida has been dealt a big blow. RB Matt Jones has undergone season ending knee surgery today and is out for the season. Jones was the team’s second leading rusher with 339 yards averaging 4.2 ypc and 2 TDs. Now they running load falls on Mack Brown who only has one more rushing yard than Jones. The Gators needed that two heading rushing attack as they work in new QB Tyler Murphy.
It will be a tough road ahead with Missouri, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida State left on the schedule. Now their have lost their starting QB, DT, RB, KR, RT for the season.
