Peter Laviolette

Just 3 games into the NHL season, the Philadelphia Flyers have fired Peter Laviolette. Since taking over the team in 2009-10, the team has gone to the Stanley Cup Finals, and lost in the 2nd round twice. Cold world out there for NHL coaches. This quick firing set a new NHL record for a coaches firing.

Don’t look now but Chip Kelly is now the longest tenured coach in Philly.
