By now, you all have seen this footage of what really went down in one of Dez Bryant’s outbursts on the sidelines. Now that the public opinion is swinging back in favor of Dez Bryant, Jason Witten is also coming out to defend his teammate:
“There’s nobody I love playing with more on Sundays than Dez,” Witten told KTCK-AM on Tuesday, per The Dallas Morning News.
“I was just reminding him there at the end there was still hope, still a chance and that he kind of just needed to let it go and let’s get focused back on these final few seconds,” Witten said. “Wasn’t about getting (Bryant) the ball … that’s not what kind of guy he is … that’s why we love him.”
I would like playing with one of the best WR in the game too since it would help me see single coverage. However, Dez still needs to be aware of how the cameras pick up his every move. The only thing I really think he did wrong was yell at Romo. Right or wrong, you don’t hang your QB out like that.
