Josh Freeman didn’t have the best debut with the Vikings to put it nicely. He didn’t pass well and got a concussion for his troubles. On the flip side he only had two weeks to learn the offense. Freeman’s confidence is still high though:

“I feel like I can go out and compete and give our team a chance to win,” Freeman said. “This week, any week, I just want to prepare as well as I can and then ultimately go out and play well.”

Christian Ponder didn’t exactly remind people of Randall Cunningham out there so it’s safe to assume the Vikings will give Freeman every chance to win the job. Also, they are paying him about 3 million this year to find out if he is the guy.
