Michael Beasley Mugshot

Michael Beasley is most likely on his last chance in the NBA. He has returned to the Heat and the veterans on the team like Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem have been trying to help him out. Still, his latest comments to Fox Sports Florida don’t have anyone thinking that he will actually turn things around:

Beasley, who has had a number of off-court problems in his six-year career, is on a short leash. Because he didn’t get any guaranteed money, the Heat can release him at any time without penalty if has another misstep.

“I guess if you want to look at it that way,” Beasley said. “I’m not looking at it that way. I’m just here to play basketball. I’m not going to be looking at not making mistakes or trying not to mess up. Just trying to do things the right way consistently and let everything fall into place.”

To say that Beasley is still clueless is an understatement. Since his contract is not guaranteed, the Heat can cut him at  any point with no financial penalty. I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t make it to opening night.

  1. Jones says:

Nonsense! He’s saying he’s not going to play scared on the court. He’s going to play through his on-court mistakes and learn from the process.

You can read it how you want and infer your own conclusions, but it’s just common sense and his intentions are clear to understand.

    This isn’t rocket science!
