The 6’6″ rookie out of Syracuse started his 76ers career off on the night that Allen Iverson officially ended his, and both brought enough star power to the building to carry the 76ers to a highly unlikely opening night upset of the Miami Heat.
He started off the game with a steal, a drive the length of the court, and a monster dunk on three Heat players.
Michael Carter-Williams is here, and I’m officially dubbing him with the nickname “The 1,” before anyone else jumps on the bandwagon.
