I wrote awhile back about how perception factors in greatly when talking about which player in the NBA you would want to take the last shot for you. Apparently, it appears the perception might be shifting.
In the annual survey of NBA GMs, they chose Kevin Durant as the player they would want taking the last shot.
1. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City — 39.3%
2. Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers — 32.1%
3. Carmelo Anthony, New York; LeBron James, Miami — 7.1%
Also receiving votes: Ray Allen, Miami; Manu Ginobili, San Antonio; Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas; Chris Paul, L.A. Clippers
