When the Colorado Avanlanche hired former NHL great Patrick Roy to become their new head coach, they did so not only because he was qualified, but also to sell tickets.
How can a coach sell tickets you ask? Well the scenes following last night’s game between the Avanlanche and the Anaheim Ducks, is Exhibit A.
In Roy’s first game as an NHL coach, the fiery former goalie got into a very heated exchange with Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau, it got so bad that both men began to push the glass barrier separating them. Don’t know why Roy was so pissed off, his team won 6-1.
