The only good news for Ole Miss today is that they upset LSU and snapped a three-game losing streak. Other than that, it seems that personnel issues continue to plague the Rebels this season. The latest casualty is being reported by CBS Sports as their star true freshman TE Evan Engram.
The team had listed him as having a high ankle sprain in his left ankle, but the injury is forcing him to have season ending ankle surgery. The team isn’t sure exactly when the injury occurred, but they do know that it happened somewhere around the halfway point of the game. Engram had racked up enough yards to be the third leading receiver on the team.
The Rebels schedule is easing up now so maybe they can play out the rest of the season without feeling the strain of injuries affecting their team.
