I’m not sure if it’s for precautionary measures or what, but Pacers fans won’t see Danny Granger again until opening night.

Granger strained his left calf Friday night against the Bulls, leaving the game. Monday the team announced that he sat out practice and would not play in anymore preseason games.

The Pacers need to see if Granger can still co-exist with Paul George, Roy Hibbert and David West.   If he can’t fit into his role as 6th man, his expiring contract will be quite attractive for a team who might be a player away this season.
