Prosecutors in Hernandez Case Ask The Judge If She’ll Step Down

There have been a lot of whispers that the prosecution doesn’t have that strong of a case against Aaron Hernandez in the Odin Lloyd murder case. This latest development furthers that talking point. The prosecution has requested that the judge step aside from the trial:

At Wednesday’s pre-trial hearing, the prosecution acknowledged that a formal request will be made to Judge Susan Garsh that she recuse herself from the case.

The exact reason is unknown but there is a history between Judge Garsh and these prosecutors. We will see how this plays out but if anything, Garsh will have to be extra careful to not show favoritism.
